IT training portal with the autodiagnosis tool for assessment of IT competences

The IT training portal created within ITQual project is a response to problems concerning IT training market in Poland. The basis of conclusion was survey conducted by The Institute of Labor and Social Studies together with Nowy Sącz School Business - National-Louis University. SME’s companies as the main IT training users took part in the survey.

The aim of the tool:
The main aim of the portal is to provide both employees and companies form SME sector with comprehensive solution designed for implementing computer technology. The portal is also an offer for those in danger of unemployment because of the lack of IT competencies. The portal’s offer concentrates on solutions which fulfill training needs of companies.

Benefits for SME sector:
The portal provides up-to-date and full information on IT training offer on the Polish market. Advanced mechanisms for analyzing training content as well as comparative modules make presentation clearer and better understood. Thanks to the information included in database users are fully aware of qualifications to be obtained during selected training. The integral part of the portal is the tools for diagnosing the level of ICT competencies. The tool is a starting point for further analysis of IT training offer.

How does the portal work:
The portal includes detailed database of IT training offer on the polish market with advanced search mechanism. The database is updated according to changes of training offer of companies co-operating with the portal. The database provides its users both training companies and those interested in training offer with clear and simply way of presenting results with full control over outputs.
